Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Enterprise Data Engineer. The Enterprise Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and systems to support organizational data needs. Key responsibilities include data acquisition, integration, and storage, as well as ensuring data quality and security. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze data requirements, optimizing system performance, and creating scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in designing and managing data architectures, including experience with databases and data modeling
- Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and pipeline development
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java
- Experience with cloud platforms and tools like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Understanding of data security, compliance, and governance best practices
- Problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to optimize system performance
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Experience within engineering, construction services, or related industries is a plus
