Supply Planning Manager (15-Month Contract)

Bulla Dairy Foods, a beloved Australian dairy brand with a six-generation history, is seeking an experienced Supply Planning Manager for a 15-month contract. Join our Planning and S&OP team and play a crucial role in shaping our supply and production strategies.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Planning and S&OP, you will be instrumental in developing and executing robust short, medium, and long-term supply and production plans. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the creation of integrated supply and production plans across a multi-year horizon.
  • Translating business strategy into actionable production schedules.
  • Conducting scenario modeling and capacity planning, including 3-5 year outlooks.
  • Delivering a reliable 24-month rolling forecast aligned with Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Leading and enhancing S&OP and planning rhythms (daily, weekly, monthly).
  • Facilitating key forums such as Supply Reviews and Sales & Operations Execution (SOE).
  • Providing data-driven insights and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing the Supply Planning team.
  • Driving accountability, capability development, and continuous improvement.
  • Fostering strong cross-functional collaboration.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) like service levels, schedule adherence, and inventory performance.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks and opportunities.
  • Driving innovation and process improvements in supply planning.
  • Partnering with internal teams including Demand Planning, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Logistics.
  • Supporting customer collaboration and seasonal planning.
  • Communicating supply risks, constraints, and opportunities effectively.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in Supply Planning within the FMCG sector (ideally 5+ years).
  • Strong understanding of S&OP / Integrated Business Planning processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to influence and drive results.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and BI/reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Capacity to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
  • Willingness to travel fortnightly to our regional sites in Colac, Victoria.
