Internal Sales Executive
Fed up with micromanagement? Do you love being part of a team where everyone genuinely backs each other and pulls in the same direction? This is a full-time, permanent Internal Sales role within a growing telecoms reseller, focused mainly on booking quality meetings for the field-based sales team. Your conversations open doors, start relationships, and make a real difference to revenue.
Working pattern & location
Although the office is Southampton-based, you will be fully remote most of the week, with optional team days or occasional time together to keep that team buzz and connection. Here, you will be trusted to manage your day, your conversations, and your results.
What you can expect
You'll be rewarded properly for your work, including:
- A solid basic salary up to £30,000, depending on experience
- Uncapped commission with realistic earning potential well above average
- Clear and achievable targets that are set from the start
- No moving goalposts and no unpleasant surprises
If you are upbeat, confident on the phone, and motivated by commission, you'll enjoy working in a fast-moving telecoms environment where no two days feel the same.
What you'll actually be doing
You'll be part of a small, supportive internal sales team, speaking with UK businesses by phone and video. Your main focus will be creating interest, starting conversations, and booking meetings for the external sales team.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Making outbound calls to business decision makers
- Sparking interest and qualifying opportunities in a friendly, professional way
- Booking meetings for senior sales colleagues
- Updating the CRM with accurate notes and outcomes
- Building rapport and long-term relationships over time
- Taking pride in the quality of conversations, not just call volumes
You will receive full training on the services being sold, plus ongoing support, without anyone hovering over you.
What we're looking for
Ideally, you will:
- Have experience in a phone-based sales, telesales, or appointment-setting role
- Be confident and comfortable speaking with businesses
- Enjoy opening conversations rather than hard selling
- Be organised, positive, and happy managing your own day
Experience in telecoms, IT, or technology sales is great, but absolutely not essential. If you can talk confidently, listen well, and book meetings that count, you can succeed here.
