FP&A Analyst - Remote Freelance AI Evaluator
Crossing Hurdles is partnering with a leading US AI frontier lab to identify experienced finance professionals for a remote, flexible freelance engagement. Our client is building AI systems that need to reason accurately across complex financial domains - and they need real FP&A practitioners to help evaluate and improve that output.

- Identify errors, gaps, and weaknesses in financial reasoning and modeling logic
- Provide structured written feedback to improve AI response quality
- Complete scenario-based tasks covering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Work independently on a flexible, async schedule with consistent weekly availability
Domain Focus
- Financial planning and analysis

- CFA or MBA with a Finance concentration preferred
- Strong command of forecasting methodologies, financial modeling, and budgeting cycles
- Ability to articulate reasoning clearly and precisely in writing
- Comfortable working independently and meeting deliverable timelines without close supervision
Work Style and Expectations
This engagement is fully remote and async-friendly. You set your own hours within the week. Our client values consistency - candidates who can commit to a reliable weekly cadence perform best and are prioritized for ongoing and expanded work. Evaluators who demonstrate strong performance are considered for retainer arrangements.
Compensation

- Payment: Via Deel, fortnightly
- Commitment: 15-20 hours/week (minimum 10 hours/week)
- Type: Long-term engagement, retainer opportunities for strong performers
You May Be a Good Fit If
You have spent years doing real FP&A work and can spot when financial reasoning is off. You enjoy analytical tasks and structured writing. You want a flexible, well-compensated engagement that fits around your existing schedule - and you are ready to start quickly.
