We are looking for a highly intelligent, charismatic and creative thinking individual who is passionate about SEO to join our team in Atlanta

This is a mid/senior-level position suited for a well-rounded SEO, experienced in technical and on-page SEO. The successful candidate will be a fantastic people-person who can distill complex SEO issues into meaningful, business orientated actions for their clients.

The overall purpose of this role is to support the VP SEO and lead the SEO Managers and Executives in implementing SEO strategy for key clients.

You will be responsible for the management and delivery of SEO scopes for our clients, using both internal resource and our network of specialists, in order to achieve client business objectives and targets. You will be responsible for the effective implementation of client Account Development Plans (ADPs) in order to achieve client's annual business objectives and targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The SEO Manager supports ongoing delivery and growth for clients. This will include, but is not limited to:

Technical Specialist

  • You love the world of technology and the possibilities tech brings the world
  • You've run many of your own websites and understand the complexities of Javascript, HTML, and CSS
  • You're familiar with another modern programming language like Python, Ruby or R
  • You love solving complex SEO challenges relating to crawling and indexing

SEO Enthusiast

  • You love interacting with the SEO community across online and offline areas
  • You've spoke at many events and love teaching the value of SEO to anyone who will listen
  • You've written content for many industry leading publications and love sharing your thoughts about the industry

Data Aficionado

  • Manipulating data is what makes you tick - the world of APIs and SQL databases fascinates you
  • You live for Excel and confidently understand complex formulas, macros and pivot tables
  • Building charts and decks that tell a story is a process you have been through successfully many times before

Commercial Centric Team Player

  • You enjoy managing large teams of people and take joy in finding talent in the SEO space
  • You enjoy working with wider teams (Content, PPC, Paid Social) in finding new solutions for clients that break marketing silos
  • You enjoy building decks and presenting ideas to new business prospects to assist in growing department revenue

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree level education or relevant equivalent experience
  • Demonstrable in-depth experience in Digital Marketing
  • Demonstrable in-depth experience in SEO advertising
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and presentation skills
  • A mathematical and analytical mind
  • Exceptional client service skills
  • Highly organised and an ability to multi-task
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills which must include Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Demonstrable history of leading client calls; discussing key projects and their progress and diplomatically handling any hurdles to achieving goals
  • Extensive knowledge of using Google's suite of cloud based tools; Calendar, Drive, Sheets, Present etc.
  • Strong Excel skills; knowledge of functions and ability to manipulate data en masse
  • Hard working team player with the desire to work as part of a dynamic and friendly team and grow our SEO proposition
  • Good communication skills - the ability to convey an idea with confidence

COMPENSATION

Salary Range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 per year (DOE).

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on; among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee's/applicant's skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.

We operate on a hybrid model of 3 days in office per week. Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there's flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
