What You'll Do
As a Tax Senior Consultant in the Global Information Reporting practice, you'll join a dynamic team at the forefront of transforming the tax profession through digitalization, focusing on international tax transparency for the financial industry. Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising financial institutions on FATCA, CRS, Chapter 3 and Chapter 61 of the Internal Revenue Code (1042/1042-S and 1099 reporting), Withholding Partnership rules, Qualified Intermediaries, 871(m), and other global information reporting and withholding regimes.
- Collaborating with international teams across different jurisdictions to support financial institutions' compliance efforts.
- Playing a key role in engagement workflows, including supervising tax consultants and interns.
- Conducting detailed reviews of reporting data, tax form validations, notifications, and other FATCA, CRS, Chapter 3, and 61 requirements.
- Contributing to internal technology development through the design, drafting of business requirements, and technology testing.

Our subject matter experts serve the world's largest financial institutions, including major global banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and insurance companies. We are driving the transformation and digitalization of tax departments to enhance client impact and efficiency. Our services encompass FATCA, CRS, global Chapter 3 and 61 tax compliance, tax form validation, Qualified Intermediary and Withholding Partnerships regimes, technology development, consulting, controversy, risk management, and audit readiness. Qualifications
Required
- Ability to work in a hybrid model requiring 2-3 days per week in the office for US Tax professionals.
- 3+ years of experience in FATCA, CRS, Chapter 3 and Chapter 61 of the Internal Revenue Code, Qualified Intermediaries, 871(m), or other withholding and reporting regimes.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
- Experience preparing and reviewing FATCA tax returns, CRS reporting, tax form validations (W-8, W-9, or CRS Self-certifications), and 1042/1042-S and 1099 reporting.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% on average, depending on client and industry needs.
- One of the following active accreditations (or in progress, or willingness to obtain):
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office, if eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
- If not CPA eligible: Licensed attorney or Enrolled Agent.
- Certifications: Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
Preferred
- Advanced degree (Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM).
- Previous experience in a Big 4, CPA firm, or law firm.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Compensation
The wage range for this role is estimated between $63,420 and $144,300. This range considers various factors including skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs. It does not include geographic differentials. Typically, individuals are not hired at the top of the range, as compensation depends on specific circumstances.
Annual Incentive Program
You may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program, based on program rules and factors like individual and organizational performance.
