Social Media Content Creator & Account Manager

Company: eLuminate Marketing

Contract Type: Contractor (freelance basis)

Compensation: Paid per client, between $625-$2000 per client

Working Hours: Must be available between 9 am - 5 pm

Job Overview

This hybrid role combines creative and account management responsibilities, bridging the gap between eLuminate Marketing and its clients. You will manage client communications and lead content creation, focusing on social media management, creative content production, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Account Manager Duties

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients.
  • Host and lead monthly client meetings to review strategies, progress, and results.
  • Respond to client inquiries promptly, addressing questions, requests, or issues.
  • Maintain strong, positive relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Content Creator Duties

Content Development: Create on-brand content for social media, including graphics, videos, GIFs, and carousels. Add captions, text, and music to videos, ensuring high quality and relevance.

Strategic Planning: Develop content pillars, monthly content calendars, and brand guidelines.

Content Scheduling: Schedule posts on platforms using Buffer and manage post-performance.

Ad Management: Run and manage social media ads, optimizing for engagement and reach.

Engagement: Monitor social channels for comments and questions, responding professionally to foster community.

Reporting: Compile monthly and quarterly reports with key metrics and insights on social media performance.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Strong proficiency in Basecamp, Buffer, Slack, and Canva.
  • Proven graphic design skills and video editing proficiency (e.g., adding captions, creating intros/outros).
  • Ability to develop comprehensive brand guidelines and content strategy.
  • Experience in managing client communications effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in running paid social ads.
  • Knowledge of analytics and metric reporting for data-driven strategy adjustments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate ideas clearly to clients and team members.

Requirements

  • Must be available for client communication and work within standard 9 am - 5 pm hours.
  • Contractor status required -- must not have a conflicting full-time job commitment.
