Equifax is seeking a creative, high-energy, and driven Frontend UI Developer (Angular) with hands-on development skills to work on the Ignite AI Advisor Application. Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 required onsite days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) every week. This role will work the required onsite days at our Equifax office in Alpharetta, GA. This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support. This position is not open to third-party vendors or C2C.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and operate high-scale front-end applications.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software with a focus on UI/UX.
- Document code/processes so that any other developer is able to dive in with minimal effort.
- Develop and operate high-scale applications from the backend to UI layer, focusing on operational excellence, security, and scalability.
- Apply modern software development practices (serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, etc.). Work across teams to integrate our systems with existing internal systems, Data Fabric, CSA Toolset.
- Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions to turn business requirements and vision into reality. Participate in a tight-knit engineering team employing agile software development practices.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on network, or service operations and quality.
- Write, debug, and troubleshoot code in mainstream open-source technologies. Lead efforts for Sprint deliverables and solve problems with medium complexity.
What Experience You Need
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience with Angular, React, or similar modern frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience with Node.js and supporting libraries.
- 2+ years of experience deploying and releasing software using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- 2+ years of experience working with software design and Java, Python, and JavaScript programming languages.
- 2+ years of experience with software build management tools like Maven or Gradle.
- 2+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and frontend/web development.
- 2+ years of experience with software testing, performance, and quality engineering techniques and strategies.
- 2+ years of experience with Cloud technology - GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility requirements and strategies.
- Deep understanding of automated testing: e.g. Jest, Vitest, Playwright, Cypress, LambdaTest.
- Experience designing and consuming HTTP and RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and clean code.
- Knowledge of design tooling such as Figma and UxPin.
