Summary Of The Role

We are seeking a highly analytical, business-minded Financial Analyst to join our expanding organization. This position is perfect for an individual who excels in a fast-paced, data-driven setting and desires broad exposure to executive leadership, private equity stakeholders, and cross-functional business teams.

The Financial Analyst will be instrumental in delivering financial insights, developing executive dashboards, supporting board and investor reporting, and driving data-informed decision-making throughout the company. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating within a high-growth SaaS technology environment that emphasizes metrics, forecasting, and performance analysis. Furthermore, this individual should be eager to adopt AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, accelerate insight discovery, and modernize financial operations.

This role involves close collaboration with Finance leadership, Revenue teams, Operations, Sales, and private equity partners to provide clear visibility into business performance and strategic opportunities.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Analyze revenue, bookings, ARR, churn, retention, margin, and other key SaaS KPIs.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through financial modeling and scenario planning.
  • Assist with annual operating plans and board-level financial presentations.
  • Leverage AI-enabled forecasting and planning tools to improve speed and accuracy.

Private Equity & Executive Reporting

  • Prepare recurring reporting packages for executive leadership, board meetings, and private equity partners.
  • Build clear and concise dashboards that translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Support investor requests concerning growth metrics, profitability, headcount, and operational performance.
  • Help maintain high standards of financial discipline, reporting accuracy, and accountability.

Dashboarding & Data Analytics

  • Design and maintain dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Utilize AI tools to identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities within large datasets.
  • Partner with data and systems teams to enhance reporting automation and data integrity.
  • Build scalable reporting for SaaS metrics, sales performance, customer health, and operational KPIs.
  • Create executive-ready summaries and visuals for leadership consumption.

Cross-Functional Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and HR leaders on performance reporting and decision support.
  • Evaluate the ROI of strategic investments, hiring plans, go-to-market programs, and operational initiatives.
  • Support pricing analysis, compensation modeling, and business case development.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis for strategic projects and executive priorities.
  • Recommend process improvements through automation, AI, and optimized workflows.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools.
  • Solid understanding of SaaS business models and recurring revenue metrics.
  • Experience utilizing AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, forecasting platforms, automation tools) in a business context.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights effectively to senior leaders.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred

  • Experience in a private equity-backed company.
  • Experience supporting board reporting or investor requests.
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and planning systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce).
  • Experience in a high-growth software or technology company.
  • Exposure to SQL, Python, or advanced analytics tools.
