Requirements
Must have:
- Minimum of 3 years full-stack development experience
- Proficiency in Node.js and Express API (TypeScript)
- Strong knowledge of React (TypeScript)
- Experience with PostgreSQL and database schema design
- Familiarity with JWT authentication and role-based access control
- Ability to work with Docker containers and cloud infrastructure
- Understanding of REST API design principles
- Experience with Tailwind CSS for frontend development
- Capability to handle real-time data migration and integration tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of the existing single-file Transportation Management System to a monorepo environment
- Design and implement a relational database schema with over 20 tables
- Develop REST API endpoints for all core modules of the current system
- Integrate JWT authentication with role-based access control
- Rebuild the React frontend to align with the new API while maintaining existing UI/UX
- Facilitate external integrations for telematics, data imports, routing, and AI assistance
- Write and execute a data migration script for localStorage data
- Set up and manage Docker containers for cloud deployment
- Oversee ongoing maintenance of the production system including monitoring and bug fixes
- Implement new features as business needs evolve and manage database migrations
