Strategic Partnerships Leader

Our success is the result of investing in exceptional individuals. We have an exciting opportunity for you to be a part of the Strategic Partnerships team, focusing on both Personal Auto Insurance Partnerships and Commercial Insurance Partnerships.
Your priorities will be a mix of Business Development, Continuous Product Improvement, and Partnership Management. As Strategic Partnerships Leader, you will direct the overall integration and interaction of projects to bring GEICO products to new markets or external partners, manage external relationships through launch and successful integration, and assist in the formal negotiations of contractual agreements with external parties.
Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identifies new external partnerships that align with acquisition strategies for various lines of business.
- Attracts partnerships through business development presentations and discussions with external partners.
- Values new business opportunities and budgets appropriately for costs.
Partnership Management
- Assists in the formal negotiation of contractual agreements with external parties in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
- Directs the overall integration and interaction of projects to bring GEICO products to new markets or external partners into GEICO's marketplace and manages the external relationship through launch and successful integration.
Product Improvement
- Coordinates and maintains communication with technical groups (IT, Product, Marketing) to enhance products and offerings that improve current external partnerships and customer experiences.
Collaboration
- Develops methods of doing business with sourced partners through coordination and collaboration with multiple departments (e.g., IT, Pricing/Product, Marketing, CRM, Financials).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 8+ years in a business development and product role.
- High-level experience in building external partnerships and managing partner relationships.
- Builder/entrepreneurial mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, create scalable solutions, and drive initiatives from concept through execution.
- Experience in Personal Insurance, Commercial Insurance, or Auto Makers is a plus.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to coach, influence, and partner with leaders and employees at various levels.
- Demonstrated track record of using data to provide insights that guide business decisions.

Annual Salary
$113,775.00 - $212,175.00
Note: This salary range is a guideline. The final offer depends on factors such as role scope, candidate experience, education, training, location, and market conditions. GEICO will not sponsor new applicants for employment authorization.
