Halogen Engineering Group is looking for a Software Engineer with web services experience.
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD/Hybrid Travel Required: No Shift: Day Remote Type: Hybrid (Up to 16 hours of telework dependent on tasking) Security Clearance: Current TS/SCI Polygraph: Required
Salary Range
The projected compensation range for this position is 160K-165K(annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
Requirements
- Experience supporting development and execution of test procedures for software components
- Experience generating technical documentation
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience ensuring quality control of developed and modified software
- Experience with the following technologies:
- Git
- Java, C++, or Python
- Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- SQL
Qualifications
- A Master's degree with five (5) years of software engineering experience
- OR a Bachelor's degree with eight (8) years of software engineering experience in a Qualified Engineering Field (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management) or a related discipline (Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) from an accredited college or university
- OR a High School Diploma or GED with twelve (12) years of software engineering experience.
