As an Investigations Support Specialist II here at Honeywell, you will provide critical support for investigations conducted across various departments including Legal, Human Resources, Integrity & Compliance, and all Strategic Business Groups (SBGs). You will assist in managing the front end of the investigations process by receiving allegations, assessing available information, opening and classifying cases, and coordinating assignment to the appropriate investigator or function.

You will report directly to the General Counsel -- Investigations and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the organization by enabling efficient and effective investigations that uphold Honeywell's standards of integrity and compliance, helping to protect the company's assets and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initial intake: Monitor and receive allegations and concerns submitted through designated intake channels, including hotline summaries, monitored email, web portal submissions, and matters forwarded by managers, HR, Legal, Integrity and Compliance personnel, or employees directly to the investigations support team.
  • Case assessment and creation: Open investigations in the case management tool once sufficient information exists and attach all available intake information to the case record.
  • Assist in gathering and processing evidence in accordance with legal and company standards.
  • Assignment coordination: Use the lead investigator assignment matrix, and consult team leaders as appropriate, to assign each allegation to the appropriate lead investigator or function.
  • Notifications and stakeholder coordination: Issue case-opening notifications to lead investigators and other stakeholders in accordance with the required notification matrix.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports and summaries to support investigative findings.
  • Ensure adherence to Honeywell's policies, standards, and regulatory requirements during investigations.
  • Travel less than 10%

Responsibilities

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2 or more years' experience supporting investigations in corporate security, legal, or compliance environments such as compliance, investigations support, HR operations, employee relations, legal operations, ethics hotline administration, case management, or a similar coordination role.
  • Experience handling sensitive or confidential information with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Strong administrative and organizational experience, including managing multiple workstreams and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience working in case management systems, HR systems, ticketing tools, or comparable workflow platforms.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, HR Management, or related field.
  • Familiarity with HR Acuity or another investigations case management platform
  • Experience triaging allegations or complaints and routing matters to the appropriate internal functions
  • Exposure to global or matrixed organizations with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience supporting data reporting, dashboards, or case metrics
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
