About the Role
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer - REMOTE. In this role, you will be responsible for democratizing data and reporting to influence strategic decisions and assess performance against business KPIs. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy, building data pipelines, and providing clear data insights through dashboards and queries. The team's mission is to empower everyone in the organization with accessible and understandable data, enabling informed decision-making to foster community growth. A successful candidate will be a tech-savvy individual with strong communication skills, dedicated to making data comprehensible for diverse audiences.
Accountabilities
- Own reporting tools, pipelines, and dashboards for mission-critical data accuracy
- Partner with stakeholders on KPI development and tracking within the Consumer organization
- Build datasets and reports that serve as the source of truth for key metrics
- Ensure data quality and freshness while addressing evolving requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making
- Establish expectations and SLAs for data availability and communicate effectively
- Promote data literacy by creating documentation and training for business users
- Foster employee empowerment through effective data utilization
- Engage in in-person team-building and community events to strengthen relationships
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics
- Advanced SQL knowledge, including query writing and optimization
- Experience in the ads or monetization field
- Familiarity with BI/visualization tools, preferably Looker
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to tackle technical and business challenges
- Proven experience in presenting data insights to diverse audiences
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to delivery
- Eagerness to utilize AI and emerging technologies in analytical processes
