About the Role

The role focuses on managing and overseeing the Commercial Habitational business, encompassing product development, revenue growth, underwriting, and distribution. You will spearhead the go-to-market strategy for the habitational segment, which includes a variety of residential options. By leading innovative insurance solutions, this position significantly impacts both distribution partners and clients, aiming to simplify the insurance experience through advanced technology. Accountabilities

  • Own and lead the Commercial Property and General Liability business with accountability for revenue growth and performance.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for habitational insurance products.
  • Monitor portfolios for risk management and appropriate capacity and rate adjustments.
  • Innovate unique coverages to set the program apart from competitors.
  • Align with broader marketing strategies within the commercial team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Property and Casualty Insurance.
  • Significant background in Commercial Property and General Liability as a product manager or underwriter.
  • Proven ability to manage P&L and drive portfolio performance.
  • Strong underwriting expertise in complex risks with established carrier relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
