Senior Informatica MDM & Data Governance Engineer

Location: Austin, TX – Hybrid – Locals Only

Duration: One Year Project

Sponsorship: Candidates must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship.

Work Arrangement: This is an ONSITE/Hybrid position. The schedule includes 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Mondays and Wednesdays are remote, while Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays are onsite. Only candidates local to the Austin area will be considered.

Job Description

The role involves understanding business objectives and challenges, identifying and analyzing alternative solutions, and performing cost-benefit analyses. Responsibilities include:

Analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processes or improve existing computer systems.
Conferring with organizational units to analyze current operations, identify issues, and understand data input/output requirements, summarization, and report formats.
Writing detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps for program development or modification.
Reviewing computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to assess the feasibility of requested programs or changes.

Additional Job Details and Special Considerations

The contractor will support Data Engineering and Data Governance initiatives within the SHARP program.

Candidate Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

10 years of experience with Informatica tools, including PowerCenter, IICS, IDMC, MDM, Axon, EDC, IDQ, Customer360, Supplier360, and Entity360.
10 years of experience establishing Master Data and Reference data for large organizations. Informatica MDM experience is preferred.
10 years of experience implementing data quality rules using Informatica DQ.

Preferred Qualifications:

4 years of experience working with enterprise-scale data sets in Snowflake.
4 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent work experience or a Master's degree with 6 years of experience is also acceptable.
2 years of experience in healthcare or Public Health.
2 years of experience with a state agency.
2 years of experience with Python scripting for automation and API interaction.
