Position Overview
We are seeking a California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. This role involves providing psychotherapy, conducting assessments, and offering clinical supervision to associate-level therapists in California. Bilingual Spanish speaking is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy to patients aged 12 and up via telehealth.
- Utilize evidence-based screening tools to monitor patient outcomes.
- Document patient services, diagnoses, and billing codes in the electronic medical record.
- Conduct services via a two-way audio and visual communication platform.
- Adhere to the Code of Ethics and all governing laws and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with clinical, health education, community health, and other staff as needed.
- Provide referrals for necessary services.
- Offer clinical supervision to CA Associate level therapists.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Job Duties:
- Assess and diagnose behavioral/mental health issues.
- Determine appropriate treatment methods and implement intervention strategies (psychotherapy).
- Document services in the electronic medical record.
- Provide services via telehealth platform.
- Coordinate with internal and external staff for patient care.
- Provide referrals.
- Provide clinical supervision.
Requirements:
- Active CA LCSW license in good standing.
- Ability to supervise associate-level therapists in CA.
- Master's degree in Social Work, with licensure as a Clinical Licensure able to practice independently in CA.
- Experience with psychotherapy.
- Familiarity with women's health and multicultural groups is preferred.
- Previous work experience in a multicultural setting is preferred.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Flexible hours between 9 am and 8 pm.
- Must be available for at least two evening appointments until 8 pm.
- 100% virtual care.
- Support provided by a care coordinator for administrative tasks (intake, scheduling, etc.).
- Training provided on all necessary tools and platforms.
