  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship, elevating the capabilities of data product engineers through guidance, code reviews, and architectural oversight.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor on enterprise data platform architecture, influencing design decisions across all data product solutions.
  • Drive data governance, master data management (MDM), and data quality standards to ensure consistency, integrity, and regulatory compliance across the ecosystem.
  • Balance and optimize scalability, performance, cost, data integrity, and compliance in all architectural and design decisions.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of data product engineering experience, including multiple years operating at a senior level as an individual contributor.
  • Deep healthcare data expertise with hands-on experience in data architecture, data warehousing, and engineering across both analytical and operational environments.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering data products that support value-based care (VBC) business models across payer and provider functions, including claims, membership, EMR/EHR, clinical, eligibility (EDT), and care management data domains.
  • Strong experience building and optimizing enterprise data warehouse solutions, including dimensional modeling, medallion architecture, and scalable data platform design.
  • Demonstrated expertise in master data management (MDM), including governance, data standardization, and entity resolution across complex healthcare data ecosystems.
  • High proficiency with SQL in a Snowflake environment, dbt, medallion-layer data architecture, modern and legacy data integration patterns (internal and external), and familiarity with the Tuva data model.
  • Experience supporting operational, financial, and analytical use cases through high-quality, reliable data products.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience delivering data products in agile environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in value-based care, Medicaid, and/or safety-net healthcare environments.
