The Challenge
As a Card Business Data & Planning Sr. Specialist, you will leverage advanced data analysis, reporting, and governance practices to generate actionable insights, ensure compliance, and enhance operational efficiency. You will directly support executive decision-making and drive key strategic initiatives within the card acquiring sector.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
- Manage timely, accurate, and comprehensive regulatory reporting to the Central Bank, including Blue-Book submissions, ensuring full compliance with financial regulations.
- Prepare and present compelling data insights and strategic recommendations to upper management, influencing key business decisions through effective data storytelling and analytical rigor.
- Analyze complex business challenges and discrepancies across various services, particularly within acquiring processes, and identify effective resolutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business and data analysis, proposing relevant initiatives.
- Respond to ad-hoc assignments related to the role's scope, addressing business needs requiring flexibility, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies, support forecasting updates and budget performance tracking, and prepare business presentations and management reports.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Data teams on data validation and insight generation.
What You'll Bring:
- BSc in Business, Data Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- MSc or relevant certifications (e.g., Data Analytics, BI, Power BI, SQL, Python) are considered a plus.
- Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and regulatory reporting, ideally within financial services or other highly regulated environments.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI (dashboard design, DAX, data modeling) and familiarity with SQL querying. Basic exposure to data governance platforms is also required.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and business-thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capable of presenting technical findings to diverse audiences.
- Excellent command of MS Office (particularly Excel & PowerPoint) and fluency in both Greek and English.
