Position Overview
We are continuing to grow a nationwide freight operation and are seeking experienced CDL-A owner-operators based in and around Charlotte, North Carolina. This opportunity is structured for independent drivers who want to maintain full operational control while participating in a stable and professionally coordinated freight network.
With a support team headquartered in Oregon and over 30 years of experience in transportation and logistics, this operation is designed to provide continuity in freight movement while allowing drivers to determine how they run their business. Drivers may operate across regional lanes or expand into long-haul routes depending on preference and availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport freight across assigned routes with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability
- Provide consistent updates regarding load progress, delays, and availability
- Coordinate pickup and delivery timing while maintaining flexibility as needed
- Ensure all shipping paperwork, logs, and confirmations are completed accurately
- Follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations and safety requirements
- Maintain a professional presence when interacting with customers, facilities, and partners
Contractor Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license with acceptable driving history
- Ownership or lease control of a dependable truck and required equipment
- Active operating authority and appropriate insurance coverage
- Ability to manage scheduling, routes, and business operations independently
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Work Structure
This is a fully remote independent contractor role. Drivers operate within a structured freight network while maintaining flexibility in their day-to-day operations.
