Responsibilities
- Review and verify IME reports for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established medical standards and guidelines
- Cross-check medical records against report content to ensure completeness and proper documentation
- Identify discrepancies or errors in reports related to medical terminology or record details and escalate issues appropriately
- Collaborate with medical professionals and team members to clarify report ambiguities or missing information
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on report quality trends and potential process enhancements
- Maintain turnaround times and workflow deadlines
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation standards
- Experience reviewing or auditing medical reports, especially IME or similar assessments
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify errors or inconsistencies accurately
- Familiarity with orthopedic, neurological, pain management terminology, and psychiatry
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and clarify report details
