PodPitch is an AI-powered podcast PR platform for PR agencies, in-house teams, and founders. We help users find the right podcasts, generate personalized pitches in their own voice, and send them from their real email address. We're scaling paid acquisition aggressively, and creative is the bottleneck. We need someone who can crank out AI video ads that don't look like AI, ship daily, and obsess over hooks, hold rate, and CVR.
What You'll Own
AI Video Ads (primary)
- Concept, script, generate, and edit AI video ads in Higgsfield, HeyGen, Arcads, Runway, Kling, Veo, Sora.
- Make it look like a real person, real UGC, or real cinematic, not slop.
- Ship multiple new ad variants every week, not every month.
- Build a library of winning hooks, formats, and visual styles you can remix.
Hooks Scripting
- Write hooks that stop the scroll in the first 1.5 seconds.
- Borrow, remix, and stress-test hooks from top-performing ads across categories.
- Match angle to ICP: agencies, in-house PR, founders.
- Treat the script as the ad. Visuals serve the hook.
Hold Rate CVR Obsession
- Live inside Meta Ads Manager: hook rate, hold rate, thumbstop, CVR.
- Diagnose where viewers drop and fix the second that's losing them.
- Tie creative decisions to CPA and ROAS, not engagement.
- Maintain a weekly creative scoreboard: winners, learnings, next bets.
Trends Always-On
- On X daily following AI video accounts, ad libraries, and creative ops people.
- First to try every new model, app, and workflow the day it drops.
- Reverse-engineer what's working in other verticals and port it over.
Statics Landing Pages (later)
- Static ad concepts when video isn't the right format.
- Landing page variants tied to specific ad angles.
- Light CRO on the funnels you're driving traffic to.
- Scope expands as you prove the video engine.
Requirements
- A reel or portfolio of AI video ads you've actually made and ideally run.
- Daily hands-on with Higgsfield, HeyGen, Arcads, or equivalents.
- Strong instincts for hooks, scripting, and the first 3 seconds.
- Obsessed with hold rate, thumbstop, bounce, and CVR (not vanity views).
- Active on X following the AI video and creative ad scene.
- Can ship multiple finished ad variants per week, solo.
- Taste. Your AI work doesn't look like AI.
Nice to Have
- Static ad design chops (Figma, Photoshop).
- Landing page and CRO experience.
- Direct experience running Meta Ads or partnering closely with media buyers.
- Background in DTC, B2B SaaS, or performance creative agencies.
You'll Thrive If You're
Terminally online, already shipping AI video ads or content right now, can produce a finished ad in hours not days, and treat every new model release like personal Christmas.
You'll Struggle If You
Need a brief, brand book, and a producer to make anything; think AI video is a phase; care more about awards than CPA; or default to stock footage and template editors.
What Success Looks Like
First 90 days: a steady weekly drumbeat of new AI ad variants, at least one breakout video winner that beats current control on CPA, measurable lift in hook rate and hold rate, and a documented hook/format library the team can remix. Long term: AI video becomes our highest-leverage creative channel, dozens of fresh ads per month with no agency, and expansion into statics, landing pages, and CRO experiments tied to the ads.
Compensation & Logistics
- $80K -- $250K total comp, calibrated to demonstrated output and impact on CPA/ROAS.
- Fully remote; any country, but you must overlap 9am--5pm PST.
