Work Location:
- Remote with occasional onsite requirements for projects or monthly/quarterly intervals.
- Candidate MUST be local to South Carolina and able to commute to the Columbia office as needed.
Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
This implementation assistance includes, but is not limited to:
- Status reporting of operational support tasks and related work efforts.
- Identifying metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) of processes and their output.
- Creating, managing, and maintaining policy, plan, process, procedure, and other program documents (e.g., process flows, standard operating procedures, desk manuals, procedural guidelines).
- Reviewing, editing, and maintaining documentation consistency and accuracy for submissions from staff and vendors.
- Monitoring and supporting deadlines, milestones, and activities.
- Applying change, risk, and resource management.
- Documenting all meetings attended, directives, and significant phone conversations.
- Developing and delivering professional technical program updates to DIS leadership and supporting staff.
- Communicating with IT leadership, business leadership, and IT Business Consultants to convey program strategy, direction, and changes.
- Tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to Project Managers.
- Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in Microsoft Office tools.
Required Skills:
- Excellent technical writing skills and experience.
- Ability to create effective and clear process flows and similar diagrams in PowerPoint or Visio.
Preferred Skills:
- Simultaneous management of multiple reporting requirements.
- Strong schedule management and planning skills.
- Support for regulatory compliance projects.
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing.
- Experience with technical SOP documentation and graphic creation in Visio.
Required Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree with 2 years of experience.
Soft Skills:
