Job Description

Position Summary

Acts as a liaison between the Client and our Substation Engineering Contractors. Provides planning, strategic analysis, and operational support. Facilitates, directs, and coordinates activities and special projects related to the execution of the Substation Owner's Engineering outsourced work portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support contractor interactions to manage the work plan portfolio. Prioritize issues and facilitate/take corrective actions.
  • Analyze costs and recommend cost reduction initiatives based on data.
  • Analyze work processes and recommend improvements for integration.
  • Provide workload efficiency analysis and recommend future resource needs.
  • Lead special projects to resolve urgent issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with all vendors and their leads.
  • Collaborate with other LOBs to gather feedback and implement improvements.
  • Provide guidance to Owners Engineers and Internal Engineers on contractor management.
  • Work closely with Sourcing and Contract Management on MSAs and contracts.
  • Provide vendors with workload forecasts to improve efficiencies.
  • Manage LAN IDs and contractor workforce.
  • Assess vendor capabilities and strengths, providing feedback for improvement.
  • Evaluate contractor performance based on established business metrics.
  • Lead Contractor Communications Meetings.
