Chief Growth Officer, Global Life Sciences

This new role will be an integral part of the executive team with a keen focus on driving sales growth. Building off a strong established foundation, disciplined pipeline and seasoned team, you will lead the strategic direction and execution for US and North American revenue expansion--- joining at the start of a significant growth phase with substantial upside ahead.

Role Overview:

The role is best suited to a commercially driven and strategically minded leader who is equally comfortable working hands-on in the market as they are shaping strategy. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise SaaS, digital health, and pharmaceutical commercialization, with accountability for driving large scale platform deals, expanding global strategic accounts, and shaping revenue strategy in a highly regulated environment. You will be expected to lead from the front, personally engaging clients, preparing materials and closing deals alongside the team while also being an integral member of the executive team, contributing to growth strategy and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Enterprise Revenue Ownership

    • Own and deliver global bookings, ARR, and revenue growth targets
    • Lead strategic sales efforts targeting top global pharma and medtech companies
    • Close large, complex, multi-year enterprise deals
  2. Global Account Strategy & Expansion

    • Build and execute global account plans
    • Drive land-and-expand motions across new indications and programs
    • Establish C-level relationships with pharma manufacturers in North America
  3. Commercial Leadership in a Regulated Environment

    • Apply knowledge of GxP, GPvP, FDA, EMA, HIPAA, GDPR
    • Ensure compliance-aligned commercial strategies and position expansion opportunities given RxPx regulatory grade platform
  4. Patient-Centric Growth Strategy

    • Embed patient journey understanding into commercial strategy
    • Ensure continuous market feedback between customers, product, engineering teams
  5. Data & Evidence-Driven Selling

    • Lead with value-based, evidence-driven narratives
    • Align with RWE and HEOR frameworks
    • Act as a strategic conduit to the data team regarding customer needs, market trends and opportunities
  6. Cross-Functional Leadership

    • Partner across product, medical, marketing, and customer success
    • Align with the CMO on GTM strategy, implementation and measurement
    • Partner directly with the CSO, US to develop clinical strategies, priorities and measurements
    • Support the executive team on network expansion and thought leadership
    • Work collaboratively with product leaders to inform roadmap and industry directions
  7. Team Leadership & Scale

    • Build and mentor enterprise sales teams
    • Drive pipeline and forecasting discipline, with high visibility reporting and OKRs
    • Take a hands-on approach, both leading and 'doing' alongside the team
    • Act as a trusted senior leader and strategic member of the executive team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 12--15 years in enterprise sales leadership.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, including market dynamics and regulatory considerations.
  • Demonstrated sales and business development success.
  • Proven track record of successful partnership development and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM and project management tools.

Required Experience:

  • 12--15 years in enterprise sales leadership.
  • Proven track record closing large, complex enterprise deals with pharma/medtech.
  • Experience in digital health or regulated SaaS.
  • Extensive network in the North American life sciences industry.
  • Accomplished presenter, public speaker, with excellent written skills.
  • Technically savvy, mastery of presentation software, dashboards, CRMs.
  • A track record of building high-performing teams, developing talent and driving cultural change in a scaling business.
  • Metrics-driven leadership --- natural inclination toward transparency, data and accountability as management tools.
