Position Summary
Skillbridge is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Proposal Coordinator to support business development and resource mobilization efforts. This role focuses on identifying high-quality funding opportunities, preparing competitive proposal submissions, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in capacity building, procurement, and proposal coordination across nonprofit or international development sectors. This is a part-time role (3--5 hours per week) that supports ongoing growth and measurable impact initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and identify relevant RFPs, funding opportunities, and tenders aligned with Skillbridge's strategic priorities.
- Support the development and submission of competitive proposals, including drafting, formatting, editing, and assembling required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, instructions, and submission requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather technical, operational, and budget information for proposals.
- Maintain organized tracking of opportunities, deadlines, and proposal status updates.
- Support procurement activities as needed, contributing to vendor or partner identification and documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of proposal templates, tools, and processes.
Qualifications
- Experience in proposal coordination, capacity building, and procurement support.
- Strong writing, editing, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet weekly metrics and deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a distributed, remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Experience supporting nonprofit, international development, or social impact projects preferred.
- Familiarity with funding platforms and proposal management tools is a plus.
- Ability to communicate professionally with internal teams and external partners.
- Candidates may be based domestically or internationally.
- It would be beneficial to have a candidate located in the Northeast PA area, though this is not required.
Work Expectations
- Consistently dedicate 3--5 hours per week to proposal review, coordination, and submission tasks.
- Maintain a proactive approach to identifying high-quality opportunities and ensuring timely action.
