About the Role

This position approves or disapproves insurance form, rate, and rule filings for property and casualty insurance, with a focus on personal automobile and homeowners' products. Cross-training in multiple coverage lines is expected.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of experience in insurance industry analysis, judgment, and knowledge related to property and casualty insurance.
    • A Bachelor's degree is equivalent to one (1) year of experience.
    • An Advanced degree is equivalent to eighteen (18) months of experience.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze contract language and apply regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or J.D.).
  • Professional-level insurance compliance experience.
  • Familiarity with the NAIC SERFF system.

Physical Requirements

Requires occasional moving of articles such as boxes, accounting records, laptop computer, and portable printer.
