Job Summary
Stefanini Group is hiring a Database Administrator in Dover, DE (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for data analysis and database management. This includes:
- Maintenance, enhancement, and design of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning.
- Utilizing a range of skills and knowledge of utilities and production tools for data storage management to support the Application Team.
- Skilled data dictionary analysis and design, and data model analysis and design.
- Maintaining the central data repository.
- Experience and knowledge in supporting the application system development lifecycle.
- Responsibility for data dictionary backup and recovery.
- Responsibility for the definition of standards for data dictionaries.
- May program dictionary analysis and maintenance software.
- Performing performance tuning.
- Monitoring database performance and space requirements.
- Scheduling and monitoring end-of-day data warehousing jobs.
- Assisting in coordinating software releases.
- Communicating accurate and useful status updates.
- Managing and reporting time spent on all work activities.
- Following quality standards.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Completing assigned tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
Job Requirements
- Must have Snowflake experience (5 Years)
- ETL experience.
- Remote work may require occasional onsite meetings in Delaware for team interactions on larger issues, and occasional attendance at company-hosted conferences (once or twice a year). Travel costs are not supported.
