About the Role

Takeda Development Center Americas, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a remote position open to candidates in the USA. This role is crucial for architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure and pipelines that power advanced analytics and business intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance data infrastructure and pipelines to support advanced analytics, business intelligence, and data science initiatives.
• Design and implement data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
• Lead the development and management of enterprise-level data lakes and data warehouses to enable efficient data storage, transformation, and integration.
• Build and orchestrate ETL/ELT workflows using SQL and Python to ensure reliable data processing.
• Design logical and physical data models to support analytical use cases.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver robust data engineering solutions on cloud platforms.

Skills and Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 3 years of related experience.
• Prior experience must include:
  • Designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
  • Implementing and managing data lakes and warehouses.
  • Developing and orchestrating ETL/ELT workflows for data transformation and integration.
  • Designing logical and physical data models to support analytics use cases.
