Role Summary

The Associate Partner is a senior leadership position responsible for leading complex life sciences engagements, building enduring executive relationships, and contributing to the strategic growth of the firm.

Operating at the intersection of strategy, healthcare transformation, and execution, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and lead multi-disciplinary teams. This role carries significant ownership; you will be expected to exercise judgment, take accountability for outcomes, and help define the firm's operating model as it scales.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership and Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end strategy engagements across the life sciences portfolio, including growth strategy, operating model design, and value creation.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders on high-stakes strategic and innovation decisions.
  • Own problem framing, analytical rigor, and executive-level communication.
  • Translate high-level strategy into practical operating models and roadmaps that support execution.
  • Maintain accountability for quality, outcomes, and client trust across all engagements.

Business Development and Growth

  • Originate and expand client relationships through insight-led dialogue and a deep understanding of market priorities.
  • Lead proposal development and scope definition aligned with the firm's differentiated offerings.
  • Contribute directly to revenue growth through new engagements and long-term partnerships.
  • Support the evolution of the firm's go-to-market strategy and market positioning.

Team Leadership and Firm Building

  • Lead, mentor, and develop consulting teams across all levels, setting high standards for integrity and quality.
  • Build teams characterized by trust, accountability, and strong ownership of outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of intellectual capital and delivery approaches that differentiate the firm in the market.
  • Help shape internal ways of working and cultural norms as the firm continues to grow.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 8 years experience in strategy consulting, healthcare, life sciences, or digital health.
  • Working on Life Sciences engagements is essential
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, executive-level engagements with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, innovation, and commercialization dynamics.
  • Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and contribute to business development.
  • Strong judgment, executive presence, and the ability to simplify complex problems.
  • Advanced degree preferred but not required.
