Job Description
In a constantly evolving regulatory environment, the Group is structuring and strengthening its Compliance function to ensure all its European entities comply with applicable regulations. The Group Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing and deploying compliance frameworks within the Group, initiating, coordinating, and overseeing the successful implementation of actions in close collaboration with all business lines and support functions (DPO, CSR, Public Affairs, Cybersecurity, Finance, Logistics, etc.) across Europe.
The e-commerce sector is currently one of the most regulated in Europe: GDPR, DSA, AI Act, consumer law, environmental regulations, etc. The highly digital nature of the business requires close collaboration with Tech and Data teams, making this role particularly cross-functional and strategic.
Responsibilities
1. Regulatory Watch & Impact Analysis
- Participate in continuous regulatory monitoring, with business experts, on all regulations applicable to the Group, paying particular attention to texts specific to the e-commerce and digital sector (GDPR, AI Act, DSA, environmental regulations, sector-specific regulations, etc.) at the European level.
- Analyze new regulatory obligations in close collaboration with relevant business teams (Public Affairs, CSR, DPO, Cybersecurity, HR, IT, Finance, Logistics, Sourcing, etc.).
- Assess non-compliance risks in collaboration with the Risk Manager to prioritize compliance initiatives.
- Produce regulatory summary notes for management and business lines, explaining the stakes and operational impacts.
2. Management of Compliance Frameworks Impacting the Group
- Define, with business lines and experts, the action plans, procedures, RACI matrices, and IT developments necessary to achieve compliance for each identified regulation.
- Integrate the monitoring of compliance projects into the Group's OKRs, ensuring consistency with company priorities and milestones.
- Monitor and report on the progress of compliance plans across the entire scope.
- Alert management in case of risk of non-compliance with regulatory deadlines or implementation failures.
3. Management and Monitoring of the Anti-Corruption and Influence Peddling Prevention Framework (Sapin II Law)
- Take charge of the Group's anti-corruption compliance framework, in accordance with the obligations of the Sapin II Law and the recommendations of the French Anti-Corruption Agency (AFA).
- Maintain an up-to-date corruption risk map, involving the relevant entities and subsidiaries.
- Manage third-party assessments according to KYC/KYP (Know Your Partner) procedures: due diligence, questionnaires, scoring, monitoring.
- Ensure the deployment and animation of other components of the Sapin II program: code of conduct, policies and procedures, internal alert system, training for exposed employees, accounting procedures.
- Prepare and coordinate any AFA controls or audits.
4. Compliance Controls
- Assist in designing and implementing control plans specific to the regulations that require them, with business experts, particularly for: GDPR, AI Act, Sapin II, RRP, environmental regulations.
- Conduct controls in collaboration with internal audit, assessing the effective level of compliance of internal practices and procedures.
- Document control results, identify discrepancies and non-compliance issues, and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure follow-up on the resolution of discrepancies and the implementation of associated remediation plans.
5. Compliance Reporting & Governance
- Participate in steering committees for compliance topics (CSR, ethics, risks, etc.).
- Regularly report on the progress of compliance projects to the COMEX and/or the Risk Committee, presenting monitoring indicators, project progress, and points of attention.
Internal / External Relations
- External Relations: Group/subsidiary clients, service providers, and subcontractors.
- Internal Relations: All internal subsidiary departments and certain Group departments providing support.
Prerequisites
Training and Professional Experience
- Master's degree (Bac 5) required in business law, risk management, or a business school with a specialization in law or risk management. A compliance specialization is highly desirable: Executive Master Compliance (Dauphine-PSL), DU Compliance Officer (Assas, Sorbonne, Toulouse Capitole), or ESBanque Compliance Officer Certification (RNCP level 7).
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in a Compliance, Legal, or Risk Management role, ideally within an international or multi-country group environment.
- Operational experience with Sapin II regulations is required.

- Proficiency in management tools (dashboards, RACI, action plans).
- Good knowledge of European multi-country environments and cross-border compliance challenges.
- Professional English proficiency (group working language).
