- Litigation Paralegal - Personal Injury
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of personal injury law, including experience handling matters across multiple jurisdictions, be proactive in case management, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide litigation support to attorneys handling personal injury matters from pre-litigation through trial.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents including complaints, answers, discovery, subpoenas, and motions.
- Manage litigation calendars and ensure all deadlines are met, including jurisdiction-specific deadlines across multiple states.
- Organize and maintain case files, discovery materials, and medical records.
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel.
- Prepare settlement demand packages and assist in negotiations.
- Assist attorneys with trial prep, including exhibit preparation and witness coordination.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
- Experience handling cases in multiple states and familiarity with varying court procedures and rules preferred.
- Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and e-filing systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
