CPT-10897 Construction Business Support VA
Overview
20four7VA is seeking independent contractors to provide remote Business Support Virtual Assistant services to a small construction company owner. This role involves managing daily administrative, communication, and operational tasks, including phone support, scheduling, light marketing, and general administrative work, to help streamline operations and free up the owner's time.
Scope of Services
Contractors will perform tasks including:
Communication & Client Support
- Answering and returning phone calls
- Managing email inboxes and responding to inquiries
- Providing professional and timely client communication
Administrative & Operational Support
- Preparing estimates and invoices
- Updating client and project files
- Supporting contract drafting and document updates
- Maintaining organized records and workflows
Task & Workflow Management
- Tracking assigned tasks and deadlines
- Providing task completion updates
- Implementing basic structure and accountability
- Assisting with reporting on tasks handled
Light Marketing & Social Media Support
- Scheduling and posting social media content
- Maintaining a consistent online presence
- Performing basic marketing research
- Supporting lead generation or outreach tasks
General Support (Ad Hoc Tasks)
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars
- Making outbound calls for follow-ups
- Supporting client notifications
- Handling additional administrative tasks as needed
Skills
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant, Admin Assistant, or Executive Assistant
- Experience supporting service-based or construction businesses is a plus
- Strong English communication skills (phone, email, written)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to follow instructions and complete tasks reliably
- Comfortable handling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment
- Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision
Application Software Knowledge / Required Tools
- Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Basic CRM or task tracking tools (preferred)
- Phone systems or call handling tools (preferred)
- Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn - basic usage)
Work Schedule
- Contracted Hours per Week: 10 Hours
- Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday
- Daily Working Time: 2 hours/day within 9:00 AM -- 5:00 PM EST (to be finalized)
Terms of Engagement
- Contractors operate under a Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work.
- This is an independent contractor role, not an offer of employment.
- Compensation is processed through 20four7VA.

- Daily Working Time: 2 hours/day within 9:00 AM -- 5:00 PM EST
- Working Days: Monday-Friday

- Accent Preference: Level A-B (native or near-native)
