Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Quality Improvement Specialist to join a global organization. This position is fully remote. The Quality Improvement team receives, organizes, and analyzes program data provided by program participants which is required to attain or maintain accreditation.

Responsibilities

The Quality Improvement Specialist is responsible for managing quality improvement duties. These duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Compiling and organizing healthcare data.
  • Assisting in analyzing data to support representatives who provide feedback and recommendations to hospitals and surgeons.
  • Scrutinizing participant-provided data to identify patterns and trends.
  • Verifying accuracy of data submitted.
  • Converting data into practical, easy to understand PowerPoint presentations and reports customized for individual participant needs.
  • Communicating analytic insights to inspectors and team members.
  • Applying knowledge of health care business operations to surgical services and providing database support for designees.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in nursing and must have experience in Surgical Services Operations.

Work Experience Skills and Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in a healthcare-related analytic role.
  • Hospital management experience.
  • Knowledge of surgical services operations/Operating Room experience is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with data visualization tools.
  • Analytical mindset with good critical thinking skills, ability to multi-task, flexible, detail-oriented, organized, and motivated.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.

Experience Pluses

  • Experience with Cerner, EPIC, or other EMR systems.
  • Proficiency in medical and procedural coding.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or health-related field.
  • Advanced degree a plus but not required.
