Responsibilities

  • Work with Product teams to develop highly scalable, flexible and resilient software solutions to accelerate the delivery timeline of our solutions
  • Partner with our system architects and product owners to re-architect our products to enable deployment on server less containerized cloud frameworks
  • Key participant in the development and transformation effort to increase developer productivity and improve solution delivery timeline to our customers
  • Ensure our products and solutions are code quality, application security, accessibility, and 508 compliant
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure the code written complies with the Company's standard and best practices and provide improvement feedback to developers
  • Support new talent acquisitions, onboard and train staff on Company development tools, process and standards
  • Support Business Development effort (e.g. respond to RFP technical requirements, estimate development effort, support demonstration etc.)
  • Good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC); demonstrates strong knowledge of applications methodologies, best practices, and procedures; and applies them to projects to ensure that applications objectives are achieved
  • Participates in Tier-1/POG meetings with customer and actively contributes towards resolving problems and walking through design solutions
  • Competence in detecting and eliminating errors in the application by conducting root cause analysis to minimize the frequency of issues and maximize productivity under moderate guidance
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules

Skills

  • BS in Computer Science or related discipline (contractually required)
  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools for development, debugging, and analysis
  • Familiarity with CLI-based workflows for automation and development tasks
  • Strong working knowledge of full-stack development using Java(8,17+)/J2EE technologies across front-end and back-end layers
  • Strong experience with Java frameworks such as Spring (Core, MVC, Boot) and ORM tools like Hibernate
  • Working knowledge of enterprise technologies including Servlets, JMS, and EJB
  • Working knowledge of web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, JSP, and jQuery
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful and SOAP-based web services (WSDL)
  • Strong experience with relational databases such as Oracle (19+) and SQL Server, including PL/SQL development and performance tuning
  • Experience with application servers such as Oracle WebLogic Server and WildFly, including deployment and troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of development tools and IDEs such as Eclipse IDE, IntelliJ IDEA, and Visual Studio Code
  • Experience with database tools such as Toad for Oracle and Oracle SQL Developer
  • Experience with build tools such as Apache Maven
  • Working knowledge of source control systems such as Git and Apache Subversion
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments with strong knowledge of basic shell commands and scripting
