About the Role
Actalent, a leader in electrical controls, enclosures, and custom metal fabrications, seeks a Technical 3D Animator specializing in industrial products. You'll create compelling visualizations and demonstrations for diverse industries like water management, oil production, and process control.
Responsibilities
- Convert CAD files for animation workflows.
- Produce product visualizations, animated demonstrations, and motion graphics.
- Collaborate with marketing and engineering teams.
- Develop content to explain product function and importance.
- Manage the entire production pipeline independently.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3-7 years of professional 3D animation experience, with 2+ years in industrial/product animation.
- Proficiency in Blender and/or Cinema 4D.
- Experience with Redshift or similar rendering engines.
- Strong command of Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Experience interpreting industrial CAD files (Autodesk Inventor or similar).
- Proficiency with STEP, IGES, and CAD conversion tools (Autodesk Fusion, Oniko).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Unreal Engine.
- Familiarity with fluid/particle simulations.
- Trade show content creation experience.
- Basic AR asset preparation.
- Experience integrating 3D animation into marketing platforms.
Work Environment
- Office-based: 7:45 am - 4:00 pm.
- Potential for hybrid work after 4-6 weeks.

Pay And Benefits
- Pay range: $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
