Construction Manager

We are seeking a junior to mid-level Construction Manager / Owner's Representative to support commercial and industrial construction projects. This role emphasizes pre‑construction activities, permitting, invoicing, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners. The Construction Manager will work closely with senior project leadership, general contractors, designers, and internal teams to ensure projects progress smoothly from planning through execution.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, proactive, and motivated to grow within a fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder construction environment.

Job Description

  • Support commercial and industrial construction projects from pre‑construction through execution
  • Assist with pre‑construction activities including budgeting support, schedule coordination, and documentation tracking
  • Support permitting processes by coordinating with AHJs, permitting offices, and utility providers
  • Track and support invoicing, pay applications, and related cost documentation
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to help ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Attend GC‑led meetings, site walks, and project coordination meetings as needed
  • Assist senior project managers and construction leadership with reporting, documentation, and follow‑up items
  • Support multiple projects concurrently, potentially across multiple locations

Top Skills' Details

  • 3 years of Construction Management or Project Coordination experience
  • Experience supporting commercial or industrial construction projects
  • Exposure to pre‑construction, permitting, and invoicing processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with proven follow‑through
  • Clear communication skills and comfort working with multiple internal stakeholders and external contractors

Additional Skills & Experience (Preferred)

  • Prior experience supporting an Owner's Representative or client‑side construction team
  • Familiarity working with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), permitting offices, or utility providers
  • Experience attending and supporting GC‑led meetings and site walks
  • Exposure to multi‑site or geographically distributed construction projects

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
