Job Captain / Project Architect (3--6 Years)

Location: Hybrid -- 4 days in office (Mon--Thurs), Fridays WFH

Schedule: 8--5 with core hours 10--3, 4 hours/week flex time

About the Role

A growing architecture team is seeking a Job Captain or Project Architect with 3--6 years of experience to support a diverse portfolio of community, K--12, multifamily, office, water/wastewater, and religious projects. This role is ideal for someone who is design‑oriented, proactive, and excited to take ownership of work from concept through completion.

You'll contribute to all phases of design and documentation, including SD, DD, CD, 3D modeling, and rendering. The team values initiative, curiosity, and candidates who are passionate about learning and growing within a collaborative, mentorship‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high‑quality Revit models, drawings, and construction documents
  • Contribute to SD, DD, and CD phases across multiple project types
  • Create 3D models and renderings for design presentations
  • Support and run projects from start to finish
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to solve design challenges
  • Take ownership of tasks, make recommendations, and work independently while knowing when to ask for support

Required Qualifications

  • 3--6 years of architectural experience in commercial (required) or multifamily projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture
  • Strong proficiency in Revit
  • Experience supporting or running projects through all phases
  • Ability to produce compelling renderings and 3D visualizations
  • Strong design sensibility and problem‑solving skills
  • Architectural license or active progress toward licensure

  • Rendering tools (Enscape, Lumion, etc.)

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
