Human Resources Consultant (6-Month Rolling Contract)
We're working with a rapidly growing technology consultancy that's scaling its operations and investing in its people function. This is an opportunity to take ownership of HR operations, helping build the structure, processes, and foundations needed to support continued growth in a fully remote environment.
Role Overview
- Location: Fully Remote (Must be US or Canada based)
- Hourly Rate: $70-$100 per hour (dependent on experience)
- Package: 6-Month Rolling Contract
- Industry: IT Consulting / Technology Services
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the day-to-day HR operations across the business, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, and HR documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR processes remain compliant and up to date.
- Oversee HR administration and identify opportunities to streamline and improve operational processes.
- Provide practical HR guidance and support to managers and employees across a range of people matters.
- Maintain and optimise HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Partner with leadership to develop scalable HR processes that support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and internal policies.
Main Skills Needed
- Candidates must be located in the United States or Canada.
- Previous experience as an HR Lead, HR Manager, or Senior HR Generalist within a start-up or scale-up environment is essential.
- Background in IT Consulting, Technology Services, or Professional Services would be preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with Rippling HRIS.
- Experience using Sequoia for benefits administration.
- Proven ability to improve and modernise HR operations in a fast-paced business.
- Strong understanding of US and/or Canadian employment practices.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting remote teams and scaling HR processes is highly desirable.
