Monday -- Friday, 2:00 PM -- 12:00 AM EST
We are seeking a Remote ELD Support Technician to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and mobile applications used in a transportation environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills, technical troubleshooting experience, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced support setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond quickly to incoming support requests related to ELD tablets and mobile applications
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-related issues
- Diagnose and assess repair or training needs for drivers and internal employees
- Determine when devices require escalation or routing for physical repair
- Communicate repair statuses and updates with internal departments and operations teams
- Document all technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within the ticketing system
- Provide timely support to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency
- Deliver excellent customer service while supporting users with varying technical skill levels
- Assist with training and user guidance as needed
- Support additional duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous call center or technical support experience preferred
- Experience supporting Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) strongly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Comfortable using Windows-based systems and internet applications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Professional demeanor with strong collaboration skills
Preferred Experience
- Transportation, logistics, or fleet support experience
- Experience working with ticketing systems such as Freshservice or similar platforms
