Job description

Responsibilities

  • Create and design 3D layouts from general ideas and instructions.
  • Design 3D printable components that integrate seamlessly.
  • Develop 3D files from provided photos and physical templates.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in 3D design software (Fusion 360 preferred, but not mandatory).
  • Solid understanding of layout design principles.
  • Strong grasp of engineering and design practices.
  • Familiarity with various filament types and their optimal application.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.

Project Details

  • Work remotely with flexible hours.
  • Compensation is project-based: $25 per successfully printed project, estimated at 1 hour per project.
  • Potential for higher pay on longer projects, negotiable on a per-project basis.
  • Projects involve creating joinery systems (screws, locks, etc.) for various shapes like spheres, cylinders, and containers.
  • Experience with Bambu Lab printers and slicers is a plus, but not required. Files should be in STL format for Bambu Slicer.
  • Ability to modify existing files is beneficial.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in 3D Print Design (Preferred).
  • 1 year of experience with 3D Slicers (Preferred).
  • 1 year of experience with Fusion 360 or comparable software (Preferred).
