Proven expertise in developing and maintaining web applications using React, Redux, and JavaScript/TypeScript within Ruby on Rails or Drupal environments is essential. Preference will be given to applicants with significant experience supporting VA.gov or similar government digital platforms, particularly in digitizing government forms and enhancing user process flows. Key responsibilities include leveraging React, Redux, and JavaScript/TypeScript to build dynamic interfaces, ensuring responsiveness and accessibility. You will utilize monitoring tools such as Grafana and Datadog to oversee application performance and troubleshoot issues proactively. The role requires applying strong software engineering principles to inform decision-making and delivery approaches. Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams, participating in agile ceremonies, and producing comprehensive technical documentation are integral parts of the role. Additionally, mentoring junior team members and supporting continuous improvement initiatives will be expected to foster a collaborative team environment.
