About The Role

We're seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join our expanding team on a part-time or full-time basis. This remote position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about clean, responsive design and possess the skills to translate business needs into functional, optimized websites.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with designers, content creators, and marketing professionals to develop and maintain high-quality WordPress sites tailored to diverse client requirements. We are currently accepting applications to build a talent pool for upcoming projects.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a portfolio or live examples showcasing previous work.

• Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor and Gutenberg.
• Experience working with theme frameworks.
• Solid understanding of SEO principles, website performance optimization, and mobile-first design approaches.
• Knowledge of MySQL databases, version control systems (Git), and hosting environments (cPanel, SiteGround, or WP Engine) is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building WooCommerce stores or membership sites.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and custom post types.
• Basic skills in Photoshop or Figma for image optimization and layout adjustments.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining WordPress websites utilizing custom themes and plugins.

• Convert wireframes, mockups, and brand guidelines into fully responsive pages.
• Customize themes, troubleshoot issues, and implement new features.
• Optimize site speed, performance, and SEO.
• Manage hosting environments, including backups and security measures (plugin updates, SSL certificates).
• Integrate third-party tools like CRM systems, analytics platforms, social media, and payment gateways.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to deliver polished, timely solutions.
