AIRES Inc. is building compliance-first infrastructure for institutional real-world asset tokenization, enabling private capital markets to launch, manage, and monitor tokenized investment pools with institutional-grade governance, security, and operational controls.

Our platform integrates sponsor onboarding, investor onboarding, KYC/KYB/AML compliance, legally isolated SPV structures, deterministic accounting, immutable audit trails, restricted transfer controls, and standardized reporting into a unified operating infrastructure for digital securities.

AIRES is currently in its pre-seed stage, with product architecture, technical specifications, engineering documentation, and institutional operating models substantially developed. We are preparing for our initial engineering build, technical diligence, and fundraising process.

Position Overview

AIRES is seeking a Fractional Chief Technology Officer to provide senior technical leadership during the company's pre-build and early execution stage.

This is a hands-on strategic role for an experienced technology executive who can pressure-test the existing architecture, identify technical and delivery risks, guide vendor and engineering decisions, and help ensure the platform is positioned for secure and scalable implementation.

The Fractional CTO will work directly with the Founder and CEO and will serve as the company's senior technical authority until a full-time technical leadership structure is established.

This is not a co-founder position.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate the existing technical architecture, specifications, engineering documentation, and security model.
• Identify material technical gaps, dependencies, implementation risks, and sequencing issues.
• Refine the technical roadmap and MVP build strategy.
• Advise on Solana, EVM, smart contract, off-chain platform, data, identity, compliance, and infrastructure decisions.
• Establish engineering standards, development practices, and technical governance.
• Support the selection, onboarding, and oversight of engineering vendors and technical partners.
• Review estimates, sprint plans, milestones, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
• Provide architecture and code-review oversight as development progresses.
• Guide security, audit readiness, upgrade controls, incident response, and operational resilience.
• Support technical diligence with investors, auditors, legal counsel, and strategic partners.
• Help define the long-term engineering organization and full-time CTO transition plan.
• Communicate technical risks and recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Near-Term Priorities

The initial engagement is expected to focus on:

• Pressure-testing the current architecture and technical documentation.
• Confirming MVP scope, sequencing, and technical dependencies.
• Reviewing the dual-chain SVM and EVM implementation posture.
• Validating security assumptions, invariant coverage, and audit readiness.
• Assessing proposed engineering vendors and build estimates.
• Establishing technical decision-making and delivery controls.
• Supporting investor and partner technical conversations.
• Helping prepare the company for a disciplined production build.

Qualifications

Required

• Prior experience as a CTO, Fractional CTO, VP of Engineering, Head of Engineering, Principal Architect, or equivalent senior technical leader.
• Experience designing or overseeing secure, scalable financial technology, blockchain, digital asset, or institutional software platforms.
• Strong background in distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, security, data architecture, and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience evaluating and managing external engineering teams or development vendors.
• Ability to review architecture and technical work at a detailed level without needing to serve as the primary full-time developer.
• Strong understanding of technical risk, delivery planning, audit readiness, and production operations.
• Ability to communicate clearly with founders, investors, engineers, auditors, counsel, and business stakeholders.
• Comfort operating in an early-stage environment with evolving priorities and limited internal resources.

• Multisig, timelock, upgrade, and governance controls

A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred. Demonstrated technical leadership and relevant execution experience are more important than formal credentials.

Engagement Structure

This is a fractional, remote contract role, expected to begin with a defined monthly time commitment and expand or contract based on company needs, funding, and build activity.

The ideal candidate can provide consistent senior-level involvement while remaining available for key architecture reviews, vendor decisions, diligence conversations, sprint checkpoints, and technical risk escalations.

This role is intended to provide experienced technical leadership during AIRES' pre-build and early execution stage. It may evolve into a longer-term advisory, fractional, or full-time executive relationship based on mutual fit and company progress.

Compensation

AIRES is currently pre-seed.

The engagement is expected to begin with an equity-based or deferred-compensation structure during the pre-funding stage, with the intention of transitioning to cash compensation following a successful financing.

Specific terms will depend on experience, expected time commitment, scope, and the structure of the engagement.
