Investment / Equity Research Analyst (AI Consulting)

Overview

We are looking to expand our team of expert consultants with 15 Investment and Equity Research Analysts for part-time, fully-remote work supporting frontier AI research. Projects pay $75--100 USD per hour, with higher rates for senior and specialized practitioners.

This role includes building original investment-research and diligence tasks from scratch, spanning market sizing, competitor and industry mapping, company diligence, and investment memos, stress-testing leading AI models on practice-level research problems, and judging whether AI-generated analysis is well-sourced, triangulated across evidence, and sound in its business and investment reasoning.

Who We're Looking For

You are an experienced investment or equity research professional who analyzes companies, markets, and industries to a high standard. You know how to size a market, map a competitive landscape, run diligence, triangulate across sources, and judge whether an investment or business conclusion is actually supported by the evidence.

Ideal backgrounds include:

• Equity research analysts at investment banks, asset managers, or independent research firms
• VC or PE associates and investment professionals with diligence experience
• Buy-side or sell-side analysts covering specific sectors or industries
• Corporate development or M&A professionals who evaluate deals and markets
• Investment analysts at hedge funds, family offices, or sovereign funds
• Authors of published investment research, sector reports, or market analysis

Minimum Qualifications

• Fluent English reading and writing skills
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in finance, economics, business, or a related field (CFA or similar is a plus)
• 3 years of investment, equity research, or diligence experience
• Track record of substantive investment research, diligence, or market analysis
