Aviation Communications Reviewer (AI Training)
About The Role
We're looking for aviation professionals and enthusiasts to help train and improve AI systems that understand real-world flight communications. You'll listen to and review authentic pilot-to-tower audio, helping AI accurately interpret the specialized language, terminology, and cadence of aviation communications.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your aviation knowledge in a cutting-edge field --- from the comfort of your own home, on your own schedule.

What You'll Do
- Listen to and review real pilot-to-tower audio recordings for accuracy and clarity
- Evaluate AI transcriptions and interpretations of aviation communications
- Identify errors in terminology, phrasing, or procedural language
- Annotate and flag communications that are unclear, incorrect, or misrepresented
- Provide structured feedback to help AI better understand real-world aviation language
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Background or experience in aviation --- pilots, air traffic controllers, aviation students, dispatchers, and enthusiasts are all welcome
- Familiarity with standard aviation phraseology and pilot-to-tower communication protocols
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle errors
- Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
- No prior AI or tech experience required
Nice to Have
- Active or former pilot certificate (any category)
- Experience as an air traffic controller or aviation radio operator
- Familiarity with ICAO or FAA communication standards
- Experience with aviation incident reporting or safety review processes
