About The Role

We're looking for Masters and PhD-level researchers to tackle complex, multi-disciplinary problems that push AI to its limits --- helping leading research labs build smarter, more capable models.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for serious academics and researchers. Your expertise is the product. Training support is provided.

What You'll Do

• Design, solve, and review advanced, multi-disciplinary problems with real-world relevance across your area of expertise
• Apply your research background to construct complex problem statements that challenge and sharpen AI reasoning
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for academic rigor, logical soundness, and domain accuracy
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain specialists to improve model performance
• Ensure depth, clarity, and precision across all deliverables

Who You Are

• Holds a Master's or PhD in a STEM or highly technical field from a top university
• Strong track record in research, publications, or complex technical project work
• Exceptional written communication skills with sharp attention to detail
• Self-directed and reliable when working independently in an asynchronous environment
• Fluent in English and based in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, or New Zealand

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or AI evaluation workflows
• Proficiency in Python, R, or other research-oriented programming languages
• Background spanning multiple academic disciplines or interdisciplinary research
