Quantitative Analyst (Quant) --- AI Training
About The Role
What if your quantitative expertise could directly shape how AI reasons about financial models, risk, and forecasting for millions of users worldwide? We're looking for Quantitative Analysts to evaluate, critique, and improve AI-generated mathematical and statistical outputs --- ensuring the models AI produces are sound, well-reasoned, and actually work the way they should.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. If you have a strong foundation in quantitative finance, statistics, or applied mathematics and a sharp eye for model behavior, this role was built for you.
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: Flexible --- work on your own schedule
What You'll Do
- Analyze AI-generated quantitative models for mathematical validity, statistical soundness, and logical consistency
- Evaluate predictive model performance and identify unexpected, flawed, or anomalous behavior
- Validate data pipelines, feature sets, and transformation logic for correctness and reliability
- Summarize complex quantitative findings in clear, structured, and actionable formats
- Flag inconsistencies, recalibration needs, or gaps in model assumptions
- Support recurring evaluations of quantitative frameworks and simulation outputs
- Work independently and asynchronously --- fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Strong background in quantitative finance, statistics, applied mathematics, or data science
- Deep understanding of modeling techniques, statistical inference, and predictive analytics
- Able to interpret complex model behavior and communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences
- Naturally detail-oriented --- you notice when a number doesn't add up or an assumption doesn't hold
- Self-motivated and consistent when working independently without supervision
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Python, R, or quantitative modeling libraries (NumPy, pandas, statsmodels, etc.)
- Background in risk analysis, algorithmic trading, or financial engineering
- Experience reviewing or auditing quantitative models in a professional setting
- Familiarity with AI tools or model evaluation workflows
Why Join Us
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs
- Fully remote and flexible --- work when and where it suits you
- Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work
- Make a direct, tangible impact on how AI understands and applies quantitative reasoning at scale
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
