About The Role

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong research instincts and a sharp eye for detail. No specific academic background or prior AI experience required --- just a methodical mind, a reliable internet connection, and a genuine commitment to accuracy.

What You'll Do

• Research topics online and verify AI-generated claims, facts, and information against credible, authoritative sources
• Cross-reference AI outputs and flag inaccuracies, outdated data, or unsupported statements
• Document findings clearly in structured formats using provided evaluation tools
• Cover a diverse range of subjects --- from science, history, and culture to technology, current events, and more
• Rate the factual quality and reliability of AI outputs using clear evaluation rubrics
• Complete task-based assignments independently at your own pace and on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Strong research skills --- you know how to find information and tell a credible source from an unreliable one
• Naturally skeptical and detail-oriented --- you don't take claims at face value
• Clear and concise written communicator who can document reasoning effectively
• Self-motivated and consistent when working independently
• Comfortable working across a wide variety of topics and subject areas
• No specific degree, journalism background, or AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Background in research, academia, journalism, library science, or communications
• Experience with data verification, fact-checking, or investigative work
• Broad general knowledge spanning multiple subject areas
• Familiarity with AI tools or content evaluation workflows as an end user
