About The Role

We're looking for a Senior Content Strategist to take the wheel on content roadmaps, messaging frameworks, and high-impact marketing materials --- working fully remotely on a flexible contract basis.

This isn't a role for order-takers. We need a strategic thinker who can see the big picture, translate it into compelling content, and drive execution with confidence.

What You'll Do

  • Own and manage end-to-end content roadmaps that align with broader marketing and business objectives
  • Develop and maintain messaging frameworks that drive clarity, consistency, and resonance across channels
  • Deliver high-impact marketing materials --- from campaign copy and thought leadership to web content and brand narratives
  • Guide editorial direction and ensure content quality, tone, and strategic alignment across all outputs
  • Identify content gaps and opportunities, then build scalable plans to address them
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to translate goals into compelling content strategies
  • Measure and optimize content performance using data-informed insights

Who You Are

  • Proven content strategist with a strong track record in marketing environments
  • Skilled at building content roadmaps and editorial frameworks from the ground up
  • A confident communicator --- in writing, in strategy docs, and in stakeholder conversations
  • Equally comfortable thinking at 30,000 feet and rolling up your sleeves to execute
  • Detail-oriented without losing sight of the strategic goal
  • Self-directed and reliable --- you thrive working independently in a remote setting
  • Strong understanding of how content drives audience engagement, brand authority, and business outcomes

Nice to Have

  • Experience across B2B and/or B2C marketing content
  • Background in brand strategy, editorial leadership, or content operations
  • Familiarity with content management systems, analytics tools, or marketing automation platforms
  • Prior experience in a senior or lead content role within an agency or in-house team
